ABSTRACT
microRNAs (miRNAs) have been suggested to play a vital role in regulating tumor progression and invasion. However, the expression of miR-27a esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) its effect on tumorigenesis ESCC are unclear. In present study, we found that was downregulated lines specimens with lymph node metastasis. Furthermore, demonstrated binds 3'-untranslated region (UTR) KRAS inhibits protein. levels were inversely correlated mRNA protein specimens. Both vitro vivo assays revealed attenuated proliferation, invasion growth nude mice. exerts suppressor function through inhibition KRAS-related ERK pathways. Our findings suggest, for first time, suppresses by targeting KRAS.
