ABSTRACT
The taxonomic status of native trout species the Marmara and Aegean Sea drainages is evaluated three species, Salmo duhani , S. coruhensis brunoi sp. nov. are recognized. a new described from Nilüfer River, tributary Susurluk River. It distinguished by general brownish body color in life; few black spots (fewer than 60) on body, generally scattered back upper part flank, rarely median part; 40) small (smaller pupil) red lower half flank; number not increasing with size both sexes; long adipose fin (adipose-fin height 8–9% SL); short distance between adipose-fin caudal-fin (12–14% anal (anal-fin 12–15% SL). separated rest trouts Anatolia based genome-wide distributed 187.385 unlinked SNP markers. According to best authors’ knowledge, whole genome data used for first time here characterize trout.
