The Effects of Varroa (Varroa destructor) Infestation Level on Wintering Ability and Survival Rates of Honeybee (Apis mellifera L.) Colonies

Summary This study was carried out to determine the eff ects of Varroa (Varroa destructor) infestation level (in fall) on wintering ability and survival rates honeybee (A. mellifera) colonies. Four diff erent levels in colonies were tested this study. Ten colonies, which similar, used for each group. The average abilities low, medium, high extreme groups found be 94.28%, 91.42%, 63.92% 23.28% respectively. An rate 100%, 80% 40% Diff erences among (P<0.01) significant.
