ABSTRACT
Improving health literacy has become one of the most important public health-related goals at global level; however, there is no clear consensus on measurement literacy. Despite numerous scales available in Turkish, none existing was originally developed and validated a national level.This study aimed to develop validate culturally appropriate original scale (HLS) be used as reference for Turkish-speaking literate adult population Turkey abroad.Two multidisciplinary workshops with more than 20 experts were conducted large item pool developed.
