ABSTRACT
Chondromyxoid fibromas (CMF) are benign cartilaginous bone tumors which found most frequently in the metaphyses of long bones. They comprise less than 1% primary neoplasms. We report an interesting incidental case a 43-year-old woman with CMF left pubic ramus, presenting complaints gradual onset groin pain over period 2 years. According to radiological examination, malign chondroid tumor was excluded, and histopathological examination confirmed diagnosis CMF. The patient underwent aggressive curettage grafting 6 years ago. Pelvic bones encountered as rare localizations for CMFs. Pubic ramus is accepted exceptional site this origin. To our knowledge, no any other localization has been reported literature. In atypical regions such pelvis must be considered differential tumors.
