ABSTRACT
The aim of this study is to evaluate the views engineering faculty students on technology literacy. This research was conducted using a qualitative design. In accordance with structure research, phenomenology design chosen from designs. group consisted 142 studying at faculties various universities in Kazakhstan and who voluntarily agreed participate research. study, opinions literacy were collected semi-structured interview form developed by researchers. As result defined as knowing meaning function it effectively. addition, they associated use profession competencies professional competencies. majority put forward knowledge technological being able follow innovations prerequisite for profession. participating found themselves moderately competent literate. Technology should be integrated all curricula content arranged accordingly.
