ABSTRACT
Essential protein identification is an important factor to inspect the mechanisms of disease progression and identify drug targets. With advancement high throughput genome sequencing projects, a bulk data available where analysis interaction pattern, functional annotation characterization are necessary for detecting proteins' essentiality in network level. A set centrality measure has been used highly connected proteins or hubs. From recent studies, it observed that majority hubs considered be essential proteins. In this article, method EPIN_Pred proposed combination several measures find hub non-hub Using cohesiveness property, overlapping topological clusters found. gene ontology (GO) terms, these again combined, if required. The performance also found superior when compared other state-of-the-art methods.
