ABSTRACT
Existing studies of the digital divide reveals gap that exists between those who have access to ICTs and do not create exclusion, endanger social integration hamper economic growth. The has many dimensions can be categorized as global, regional national. At national level, there is no single divide, but multiple divides: for instance, within countries, men women, young elderly, rich poor most importantly rural urban. present paper mainly focused on India tries explore problem in rural-urban India. In context essentially means tele-density, mobile Internet urban areas. this paper, author obstacles such illiteracy, lack skills, infrastructures, investment areas must tackled if diminish divide. government should work toward connectivity provision, content creation, capacity augmentation, core technologies creation exploitation, cost reduction, competence building, community participation commitment deprived disadvantaged bridge
