ABSTRACT
Investigate the effects of different protocols physical training (PT) on insulin sensibility (IS) and Akt phosphorylation (p-Akt) in skeletal muscle obese rats.Animals were distributed four groups according to diet training: Control: received standard chow (C); Sedentary obese: high fat (HFD) for 12 weeks (OS); Obese Trained 1: HFD PT without overload 6 (OT-1); 2: with 5% body weight (OT-2).Insulin tolerance test was used evaluate IS.Western blotting performed p-Akt total gastrocnemius muscle.Results: The induced greater p-Akt, however there isn't difference SI when compared overload.Conclusion: Differences not better responses IS rats by HFD.
