ABSTRACT
High-carbon high-strength JIS-SUJ2 bearing steel is an alloy having the characteristics of high wear resistance and fatigue strength as a result quenching. When this kind material exposed to long-lasting low stress application loadings, fisheye fractures can often be seen. In research, we measured retained austenite near fracture surface in JIS-SUJ2. After measurement, confirmed decrease vertical under both ductile fracture.
