ABSTRACT
Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) hold promises for replacing fossil fuels in energy production through the conversion of light energy. However, use platinum (Pt) fabrication counter electrodes (CEs) DSSCs contributes to high costs. Developing efficient, platinum-free CEs has become a focus point advancing DSSC technology due drawbacks including low efficiency, electron recombination, and stability issues that limit their performance. To address this, our innovation involves Pt with promising polyaniline/graphene oxide (PANI/GO) composite CE systems. Results demonstrated formation PANI/GO as exhibits excellent properties, good electrochemical performance, conductivity, exceptional mechanical stability, evidenced by Raman spectra showing GO. Furthermore, modifying be Pt-free not only reduces costs but also simplifies process system.
