ABSTRACT
Because of its high dynamic response speed and acceleration, rigidity positioning accuracy, the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) is able to meet requirements high-speed precision CNC machine tools. However, thermal problems have seriously hampered development. This paper establishes a PMLSM temperature field model, designs cooling structure, determines boundary conditions finite element model conducts computer simulation model. The result shows that designed structure can effectively alleviate motors problems.
