Research on the Bus Passenger Motion Vector Algorithm Based on Video Image

Video-based bus passenger collection is considered to have a greater potential for counting passengers, but the difficulty lies in how solve problem of accurately tracking and determining direction moving target under complex state motion. The traditional detection algorithm, like frame subtraction edge detection, very difficult deal with situation immediate multi-objective. Based on image preprocessing, an algorithm about intelligent video multi-target traffic statistics designed aiming at above-mentioned situation. core contents this paper includes: grid-density clustering line segment clustering, extraction segmentation connected domain that handled be circular, motion vector feature point, finally ,achieving accurate number people getting off. Experiments show can effectively track more simultaneously statistical accuracy achieves goal.
