ABSTRACT
Based on the theory of differential absorption, an amplitude modulation continuous wave (AMCW) absorption lidar (DIAL) aiming to measure concentrations CO 2 in lower troposphere has been developed. The analysis methods received envelope signals were discussed detail first. Three different cumulative averaging also analyzed and compared results pointed out that orders have little impact our system. Moreover, limitation improvement standard deviation ln (ratio) through signal was analyzed, which showed departures from theoretic N -1/2 dependence improvement. Then a novel precision estimate method proposed, resolution 1.1% or less trend during two days urban district Shanghai presented end.
