A New Completely Condensed Silsesquioxane: Diphenyl-Silsesquioxane

In this paper, diphenyl-silsesquioxane was synthesized and characterized. Firstly, octa-isobutyl silsesquioxane endo-disilanol (OIBS-EDN) containing two Si-OH functions formed by base-catalyzed cleavage of (OIBS). Then, oligomeric phenyl (DPS) prepared adding diphenyldichlorosilane to the solution OIBS-EDN in right proportion with presence trithylamine THF. The products were characterized FTIR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, 29SiNMR, X-ray diffraction, EA, DSC GPC respectively. results show that difunctional POSS clear structure high yield can be process. And a new simple feasible approach design synthesize put forward.
