ABSTRACT
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is becoming increasingly popular because it can perform variety of functions. These functions include surveillance, reconnaissance, monitoring, data collection and rescue operation. The purpose this work to design, fabricate fly a low weight, cost, small size UAV for surveillance mission. design carried out based on Advanced Aircraft Analysis (AAA) software. process starts with the specifications typical wing loading power were estimated in performance sizing process. Geometry was using preliminary sizing. Aerodynamics aircraft determined, which enabled stability be analysed. If desired not achieved, readjusted until final reached. manufactured foam, carbon rods, fibreglass. successfully flew at first trial flight. This followed by successful flight aerial photography.
