ABSTRACT
In order to the effects of structural sizes a hyperbolic on its performance, sensitivity and accuracy analysis are performed in this paper. According structure feature force exerted flexible hinge, closed-form equations formulated for compliances characterize both active rotation all other in- out-of-plane parasitic motions by using Castigliano’s second theorem. Meanwhile, obtained flexibility formulas, four parameters, such as thickness, notch depth, length width, hinge analyzed, respectively. study further parameters flexibility, we derive equations, is carried out. flexure performed. The results have shown that large influence in-plane compliance, small one. And changes larger within initial range while be variation size range. has no effect sensitivity.
