ABSTRACT
The composite of carbon fiber reinforced polyethylene resin was prepared by using a twin-screw extruder. effect oxidation treating on the mechanical properties researched. tensile fracture failure mechanism analyzed for both untreated and air treated specimen. experimental results indicate that when content is equal, strength elastic modulus oxidation-treated fiber-reinforced are improved than untreated. When fraction adding 3.99%, compared with pure matrix, strength, increased 13.12% 172.91%, respectively. Compared to composite, 4.71% 13.14%,
