ABSTRACT
Abstract: 7 square steel tubular columns were tested to discuss the ultimate axial bearing capacity, ductility performance and consumption under stiffened by belts binding bars of different cross-sections. Test results indicate that only increasing fewer amounts usage, CFST with can not improve overall effects restraint alleviate regional local buckling between bars, but also capacity concrete filled columns. The utility benefits economical benefit is considerable, deserving extensive use.
