ABSTRACT
The slag from steel plants or incinerators was tried to be recycled and reused as foam materials through plasma arc melting. study intended investigate the making of with laboratory melting facilities. investigated consisted different mixtures Al2O3、SiO2 、FetO、CaO Na2O, fluxes that were necessary examine capability pore-formation in solidified ingots. It has been found could obtained proper compositions conditions heating. dimensions distributions pores studied correlated temperatures slag. results showed sizes inside ingots range 1~5 mm, thickness around 20 mm. As slag, further improvement would needed future.
