A Modified Hybrid Technique for Airway Management in a Patient with an Unusually Large Supraglottic Mass: A Case Report

ABSTRACT
Background: Supraglottic masses are rare and pose a distinct challenge during airway management due to their inherent risk of severe obstruction owing large size, compressing the glottic opening. Additionally, they may be friable lead an increased bleeding manipulation. Case: We present successful 65-year-old male patient with supraglottic mass, posted for direct laryngoscopy biopsy, utilizing characteristics hybrid intubation technique using flexible fibreoptic bronchoscope videolaryngoscope in conjunction SALAD (Suction Assisted Laryngoscopy Airway Decontamination) obtain desired results. Conclusion: Managing patients mass requires diligent selection techniques. The combination fibreoptic-assisted, videolaryngoscopy-guided along case seems plausible option should considered.
