The terminology pertaining to the structure of male genitalia Hymenoptera has been subject much confusion. Several systems, many purely descriptive in nature, have previously set forch. Others were based on various concepts ontogeny genitalia, or comparative morphology adults. investigation reported here began as an attempt synthesize terminolopies and evolve a workable terms megachilid bees.
