ABSTRACT
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic, progressive, autoimmune disorder that impairs patients' overall health-related quality of life (HRQOL) In this study, we evaluated the effect adalimumab in Korean patients with active RA on HRQOL.Patients included study had moderate to severe did not respond conventional drugs Disease Activity Score 28 joints >32 and were biologics-naïve All received 40 mg subcutaneously every other week followed for 24 weeks The primary endpoint was change baseline Health Assessment Questionnaire Disability Index (HAQ-DI) score at Secondary endpoints changes EuroQol 5-dimension 3-Level (EQ-5D-3L) Short Form 36-Item Survey (SF-36) domain scores 12 HAQ-DI 12.In total, 91 Ninety-three percent high disease activity mean DAS28 value 61 within all from -046 and∼067 (p<00001) Additionally, EQ-5D-3L significantly improved compared SF-36 (p<00001, p=00001) baseline.Treatment resulted significant improvement HAQ-DI, EQ-5D-3L, patient.
