Cutaneous horn malignant melanoma

ABSTRACT
A 73-year-old Japanese woman presented with cutaneous horn on the right cheek. The resected tumor was 9 mm in diameter, 14 protrusion, and showed exophytic growth marked papillomatosis. Histopathology proliferation of atypical melanocytes melanin pigments epidermis dermis under horn. These cells were confined to base horn, did not spread surrounding epidermis. final diagnosis malignant melanoma. This pathological entity is considered a specific form verrucous melanoma, might be added list horn-forming lesions.
