ABSTRACT
The study aimed to explore the functional role of fibronectin type III domain containing 1 (FNDC1) in nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC), as well mechanism governing its expression. expression levels FNDC1 and related genes tissue samples were detected by qRT-PCR. Kaplan-Meier analysis was employed analyze association between level overall survival NSCLC patients. Functional experiments such CCK-8 proliferation, colony formation, EDU staining, migration invasion assays conducted investigate regulating malignancy cells. Bioinformatic tools dual-luciferase reporter assay used identify miRNA regulator Our data revealed upregulation at mRNA protein tumor tissues lines, compared with normal counterparts. patients higher suffered from a poorer survival. knockdown significantly suppressed cells, had an inhibitory effect on tube formation. We further demonstrated that miR-143-3p upstream repressed samples. Similar knockdown, overexpression inhibited growth, could partially rescue overexpression. silencing also tumorigenesis cells mouse model. In conclusion, promotes malignant prototypes is negative which may serve promising therapeutic target NSCLC.
