Mediterranean Bioethics in the bioethically lessknown Mediterranean: a struggle for identity

ABSTRACT
Primarly as a reponse to mainstream bioethics – the one narrowed-down issues related medical ethics and research various kinds of regional have emerged in an attempt incoporate values other than those typical for Anglo-Saxon culture. Among most promising ones, Mediterranean Bioethics, reflecting all colorfulness microcosm expanded interest entire bios (faithful original ideas Fritz Jahr Van Renssealer Potter), has found its footholds particularly Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece. Leaving aside four countries with abundant literature well-known contributions general history bioethics, we wish direct attention cultures region, revealing more complex struggle identity.
