ABSTRACT
Physical activity plays a significant role in the managing of type 2 diabetes and is essential reducing morbidity mortality associated with mellitus. A number factors influence non-adherence to physical activity: social, personal, environmental economic factors. Diabetes research conducted Botswana has focused on behavioural change, treatment adherence nutrition. The levels patients are not known.The aim this study was assess (PALs) mellitusSetting: at public clinic Gaborone, Botswana, 2017.An observational cross-sectional Botswana. An interview-administered questionnaire used PALs mellitus patients. Data were captured Excel exported SPSS software version 25 for analysis. Chi-square test, Fischer's exact test Pearson's moment correlation examined relationship between participants' characteristics their engagement regular exercise.The majority participants had low (54.7%). results showed non-significant negative age PAL (r = -0.085) sitting time (sedentary time) (-0.098).Most PALs. Health-promoting activities needed promote thus prevent complications inactivity.
