ABSTRACT
About 20 million children under fi-ve in Southern Africa have chronic malnutrition. This study determines the prevalence of malnutrition and associated risk factors amongst five.To determine proportion with investigate malnutrition.The was conducted communities four regions Eswatini.This is a retrospective cross-sectional that used data from Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) 2014. The involved 3261 who are 5 years age. Data on nutritional status household characteristics were used. Logistic regression to identify univariable multivariable models, respectively.Results showed 18.1% (confidence interval [CI]: 18.5-21.5) five highest 20.8% (CI: 17.4-24.7) Shiselweni region, followed by Manzini region 17.6% 14.5-21.1) Lubombo 17.2% 13.9-21.2). lowest at 16.7% 13.6-20.3) Hhohho region. results indicated low birth weight (odds ratio [OR] = 4.63, CI: 1.12-19.2), mothers' lack education (OR 1.50, 1.04-2.17) aged 12-24 months 1.28, 0.88-1.87) significantly findings an important public health problem needs multisectoral response.
