ABSTRACT
Major depressive disorder (MDD) is an insidious disease and affects up to 15% of the global population. Although MDD responds a wide range pharmacological treatment options, number factors, i.e. not adhering for at least 4–12 months, contribute antidepressants being highly effective. In attempt aid clinicians in improving adherence rates among patients, current paper will divulge more detail possible explanations why individuals with find it difficult adhere prescribed regimens.
