ABSTRACT
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) has been proved to be effective against fungi and it may employed as a coadjutant conventional antifungal agents, leading more microbial control minimising side effects. This work evaluates the combined effect of PDT fluconazole resistant Candida albicans, glabrata krusei. The yeasts were submitted methylene blue-PDT (MB-PDT) in sub-inhibitory concentrations. In present work, MB-PDT with was efficient inhibition C. albicans than each treatment alone, being possible infer that treatments are synergic.
