ABSTRACT
To assess the impact of socio-demographic and clinical variables on oral hygiene periodontal status in a sample mentally disabled subjects.Study comprised 171 subjects attending special school Udaipur, India. Oral was assessed by Simplified Hygiene Index (OHI-S) Community Periodontal Index.Stepwise linear regression analysis revealed that best predictors descending order for index were sibling, medical diagnosis, IQ level, education mother father. Having Down syndrome, less educated parents, poor economic sibling most important status.The present study highlighted population is influenced parent's level status.
