ABSTRACT
<br><b>Background:</b> Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) are responsible for morbidity in many working populations, which of multifactorial origin and global concern due to industrialization. Dentists as one the health-care professionals prone develop these WMSDs. The study aims determine prevalence WMSDs among dentists Bhopal region explores various risk factors development MSDs WMSDs.<br><b>Materials Methods:</b> This proposed is a cross-sectional conducted two randomly selected dental colleges Bhopal, India. A structured questionnaire was used collect demographic information, occupational history, factors, ergonomic awareness with job task details. Prevalidated standardized tools such quick exposure check list, rapid entire body assessment score sheet, Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire were also used. Data entered MS-Excel analyzed through SPSS version 18.<br><b>Results:</b> More than 92% participants reported pain discomfort at least part their body. major affected neck, followed by lower back wrist. half orthodontists oral surgeons that work-related origin. Pearson's correlation test indicated there positive between current (<i>r</i> = 0.613).
