ABSTRACT
To determine the free amino acid contents of chamomile flowers using reverse-phase high-performance column chromatography preceded by pre-column derivatization with 6-aminoquinolyl-N-hydroxysuccinimidyl carbamate (AQC), and to reliability this method.Derivatization reconstituted AQC was used prepare samples standards for injection into column. The peaks were analyzed fluorescence detection (λ excitation, 250 nm; λ emission, 395 nm.Alanine, proline, leucine most abundant acids, whereas tyrosine methionine least abundant. linearity method found be good concentrations 0.012-0.36 μM. precision 0.05-1.36%; average recovery, 91.12-129.41%; limit detection, 0.006-0.058 μM.The is reliable determining content different types flowers.
