ABSTRACT
Introduction: Emerging infectious diseases pose threats to the general human population including recipients of blood transfusions and health care workers. Dengue is an expanding problem in tropical subtropical regions. It now most frequent arboviral disease world, with estimated 100 million cases dengue fever annually, 250,000 hemorrhagic fever, 25,000 deaths per year (1). Materials & Methods: A total 459 serum samples were collected from suspected patients aged 10 65 years, different parts city, at two Pathological Laboratories city subjected hematological, biochemical serological analysis using standard laboratory procedures Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for determination specific IgG IgM antibodies. Results: Out 289 (63%) confirmed as having significant antibody titer 193 (42%) patients. Conclusion: This paper discusses need appropriate framework approaching environmental control virus/Dengue Fever/Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever reference current situation flooding flood related disasters a resource limited country such Pakistan. time evoke sense moral indignation unnecessary suffering leadership mobilize will power resources take on task controlling emerging like malaria dengue.
