ABSTRACT
Many cellular damages either in normal or cancerous tissues are the outcome of molecular events affected by ionizing radiation. T-cells most important among immune system agents and used for biological radiation dose measurement recommended standard methods. The herbs with modulating properties may be useful to reduce risk subsequently diseases. as cells being targeted dosimetry This study proposes a flowcytometric-method based on fluorescein isothiocyanate- propidium iodide (PI)-labeled annexin-V assess apoptosis blood after irradiation both presence absence fenugreek extract. peripheral lymphocyte isolated from samples healthy individuals no irradiated job background. media cultured was 1-h extract added. number apoptotic assessed protocol multicolor flowcytometry. An obvious variation observed (>80%). results suggest that can potentiate induced toxicity (P < 0.05).
