ABSTRACT
Background: Total hip arthroplasty (THA) stands as the definitive gold standard treatment for degenerative disorders. Various approaches have been proposed THA, each with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. This study aimed to compare initial functional outcomes lateral posterolateral determine approach superior outcomes. Materials Methods: Through a retrospective cohort study, THA candidates over 1-year period were analyzed. Patients who underwent surgery via or included. Demographic characteristics patients postoperative compared. followed up 1 6 months evaluate their using Harris Hip Score (HHS). Results: A total 50 candidates, divided into two groups (N = 25) approaches, evaluated in this study. Comparison demographic data revealed significant difference height body mass index between ( P < 0.05), whereas age weight showed no > 0.05). The mean HHS range motion significantly improved group after 0.001). No was observed terms Conclusion: results demonstrate THA. choice optimal remains contingent on surgeon’s experience patient’s preference.
