Controversy remains about the positive role of music during general anesthesia and postoperative recovery. We, therefore, tested hypothesis that intraoperative exposure to classical reduces propofol necessary maintain bispectral index (BIS) close 50 vitrectomy surgery. This double-blind clinical study is evaluating patients undergoing surgery under anesthesia. Patients were randomly assigned white noise groups, relevant sounds played after induction The two groups compared for use as an anesthetic a BIS near pain, anxiety, nausea, vomiting.Propofol consumption set score was much lower in group than (78.72 ± 25.76 microgram/kg/min 117.91 36.78 microgram/kg/min, respectively, P-value = 0.000). Postoperative pain scores also (P-value 0.000) anxiety levels between these did not differ 0.870). No patient had complaints nausea vomiting (PONV) six 0.011).Listening can reduce anesthetics, PONV. Further, controlled studies are confirm our results.
