Abstract Introduction: Paediatric surgery presents challenges mainly because of the patients’ sensitive age and special care requirements. There is growing evidence that shows patient education before operation can introduce a significant modification to results satisfaction levels no matter type. However, knowledge about its effectiveness on post-operative period patient, cost analysis, especially in paediatric within Saudi Arabia scarce.
