ABSTRACT
Aim: The aim of this study is to compare the immunomodulatory effects exerted by primary versus metastasized oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) cells. Methods: Mouse OSCC line Sq-1979, 233 cells established from implanted Sq-1979 cells, and L lymph node tissues Sq-1979-implanted mice were subcutaneously inoculated into later abdominal area syngeneic C3H mice. producing capabilities interferon (IFN)-γ, a Th1 cytokine, interleukin (IL)-10, Th2 anti-CD3 antibody-stimulated spleen investigated in tumor bearing-mice. Results: quantity IFN-γ produced stimulated was significantly suppressed with 233, Conversely, production IL-10 elevated cell-implanted while markedly Conclusion: Our results suggest that have acquired differential functions compared original
