ABSTRACT
Abstract Introduction: Hansen’s disease is a chronic, infective granulomatous skin with wide array of manifestations that resemble many dermatological and neurological conditions. Pure neuritic familiar form among leprosy physicians, it poses significant diagnostic difficulty. Various disorders can mimic neuropathy clinically these patients may receive multidrug therapy in endemic areas due to the commonality leprosy. Hence, necessary be aware mimickers its various forms. Patients Methods: We conducted single-center retrospective analysis from January 2022 June 2023. reviewed clinical, radiological, histopathological findings referred neurology outpatient department which mimicked neuropathy. Results: are presenting four such symptoms related disability. The slit smear was negative all patients, ultrasonography, magnetic resonance imaging, histopathology were done for confirmation. Ultimately, concluded non-leprosy cases, an alternative diagnosis made. Conclusion: Leprosy appear patterns mistaken other dermatoses. Since still carries social stigma attached it, range illnesses must ruled out differential diagnosis.
