ABSTRACT
Necrotizing fasciitis (NF), which is a rare but life-threatening soft tissue infection, can present as complication of colorectal diseases. The development NF the lower extremity secondary to perforated tumor has been reported in only few patients. We case 68-year-old woman, necrotizing infection left was presenting feature rectosigmoid tumor. On examination, there tender swelling and edema with palpable crepitus inguinal region thigh. Computed tomography showed gas within retroperitoneal tissues, subcutaneous emphysema extending from thigh ankle. diagnosed, patient underwent Hartmann's procedure fasciotomy an aggressive debridement region. In or abdominal wall without obvious cutaneous source, intraabdominal cause should be considered sought.
