ABSTRACT
Medication adherence with antipsychotics is adversely impacted by the burden of untoward adverse effects. In particular, sexual side effects are often underreported patients, which may interfere drug compliance. Presented here case a 35-year-old male schizophrenia, previously treated risperidone following he developed dysfunction and hence was stopped. He admitted to our psychiatric inpatient ward after second psychotic exacerbation disorder being free for about 6 months. On admission, treatment restarted, retrograde ejaculation on oral therapy at dose 8 mg/day, resolution symptoms cross tapering lurasidone. Pharmacological interventions that reduce antipsychotic-induced include changing type medication administering other medications known improve dysfunction. This emphasizes need routine inquiry into during atypical antipsychotic therapy.
