Introduction: One of the goals National Population Policy 2000 was to stabilize population at a level consistent with requirement national economy. Spacing methods are reversible contraception. Vision FP2020 will build on policy increasing focus spacing services through voluntary adoption family planning. With this background, study conducted explore contraception behaviour among married women reproductive age group. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional from July August 2018 rural block West Bengal. Four subcentres list total 38 in Bhatar were selected by Simple random sampling (SRS). currently group fulfilling inclusion criteria prepared and 10 each SC chosen randomly. In-depth interviews focused discussion involving auxiliary nurse midwife (ANMs) elicit reasons barriers for contraceptive use service providers’ perspective. Results: The their current choice change and, according gender first baby, poor information, education, communication (IEC), personal preference, motivation members health workers, religion caste factors, fear side effect other methods, easy availability etc., Conclusion: findings reinforce need targeted promotion that includes delivery localized services, increase knowledge safety utility eligible clients, local workers.
