ABSTRACT
Electronic health (e health) initiatives are being employed in various programs for disease monitoring. Very few such studies have been conducted India, so this study was planned.Assess feasibility and usefulness of e interventions workers, ASHA (accredited social activist) screening management hypertension.Prospective observational cohort study. ASHA's were recruited two selected villages Rajasthan trained to use technology.A web-based application developed on portable device (tablet) screen diagnose hypertension, provide education focused diet, physical exercise promote adherence therapies by repeated sessions one-to-one education. Statistical analysis done Excel.With the initiatives, among population above 18yrs, we found 19.1% hypertensives (464/2430) with 46.5% new cases hypertension 38.9 % (945/2430) prehypertensive. Mean age 52.6 yrs. ± 15.2 36.8 14.2 prehypertensive highly significant (p < 0.001). systolic blood pressure level decreased from 147.14 Hg ±13.86 133.3 ±13.07 123.18 mm 4.5 117.55 6.9 after follow up, difference change (P Also, could start 27.4% treatment, while 50.2% already treatment.Training worker technology is feasible can assist diseases.
