ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT Introduction: Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) are becoming significant global health challenges, especially in developing countries like India. Addressing the rising burden of NCDs necessitates systemic changes healthcare systems, with a particular focus on training providers (HCPs). Integrating NCD prevention and management strategies into medical education essential for effectively combating this growing public issue Methodology: A qualitative inquiry was conducted to explore perspectives key informants among undergraduates Data were collected through in-depth interviews stakeholders, including educators, professionals, policymakers, analyzed thematically identify insights. Results: Findings reveal an urgent need incorporate curriculum response prevalence multimorbidity Participants emphasized necessity curricular or co-curricular components dedicated prevention. In addition, study highlighted importance creating supportive environment fostering positive climate management. Capacity building educators emerged as critical requirement ensure they possess skills expertise needed deliver NCD-related training. Conclusion: Given escalating India, there is pressing integrate education. Curriculum reform, enabling environments, capacity-building vital preparing future HCPs manage prevent at community level.
