ABSTRACT
Worsening heart failure (WHF) is a distinct under-diagnosed and under-treated condition, independent of location care. Heart (HF) progression punctuated by repeated WHF events, each resulting in reduced cardiac function. One-third the patients with HF ejection fraction experience decompensation event. These events often result emergency department visits hospitalization. Despite its inclusion recent guidelines, there no precise definition or various forms. It worth noting that signals need for treatment optimization as per guideline-directed medical therapy addition novel drugs like stimulator soluble guanylate cyclase benefit this high-risk patient population.
