ABSTRACT
Research has shown that body mass index (BMI) does not take into consideration the gender and ethnicity. The primary purpose of this study was to examine interaction effect BMI age on fat-free (FFM), waist-to-hip ratio (WHR), soft lean (SLM). secondary evaluate practical significance findings by examining sizes. The comparative in nature employed a factorial design. Due nonexperimental investigation, no causal inferences were drawn. nonprobability sample consisted 19,356 adults. Analysis data included analysis variance, simple effects, calculation mean difference sizes, transformation. Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 22 manipulation analysis. The effects FFM, F (10, 19,338) = 28.26, P < 0.01, WHR, 18.46, SLM, 14.65, statistically significant ordinal nature. ranging from 0.30 1.20, showed influenced WHR but their FFM 0.04 0.36 0.03 0.33, respectively, mainly negligible.Based examination statistical results, it is concluded together can influence SLM questionable.
