:Background: The fruits of Momordica charantia, commonly known as bitter melon, have been used a traditional medicine in several countries. Some studies reported its pharmacological effects various disorders. Objectives: Because there little reports on charantin's role an analgesic, we evaluated pain relief effect to determine if it could be novel killer candidate. Materials and Methods: We established post-operative neuropathic models, which represent acute chronic pain, respectively.
