ABSTRACT
Purpose: To evaluate the significance of preoperative and follow-up neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) platelet-to-lymphocyte (PLR) as prognostic factors for recurrence in patients with non-metastatic clear cell renal carcinoma (NMCCRCC). Materials Methods:We retrospectively reviewed medical records 309 NMCCRCC who underwent radical or partial nephrectomy. The various clinicopathological variables, NLR (pNLR) PLR (pPLR), at quasi-recurrence (rNLR rPLR) recurrence-free survival (RFS) was analyzed. Results: At mean 93 months, 44 (14.2%) developed recurrence. In univariate analysis, clinical presentation, tumor size, pathologic stage, Fuhrman grade, pNLR, pPLR rNLR were significant RFS.In multivariate analysis using pNLR continuous stage independent dichotomous grade ≥1.7 analyses rPLR, only size a subset least 42 months without recurrence, ≥1.9 significantly associated worse RFS, albeit significance. Conclusions: are RFS NMCCRCC.We propose that postoperative 1.9 higher one more adverse should prompt radiologic evaluation possible metastasis.
