ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to clarify the pattern antibiotic resistance in pediatric urinary tract infections (UTIs).We analyzed data entire urine culture tests and susceptibility performed on hospitalized patients for febrile UTI at Uijeongbu St. Mary's Hospital during 2010-2020. A retrospective analysis using medical records results with UTIs.We cultures from 2,491 patients, identified bacterial types 1,651 cases. We found that rates ampicillin, ampicillin/sulbactam, cefazolin, gentamicin, piperacillin, tobramycin, trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole were already over 20% 2010. many other antibiotics also steadily increased time. Among tested 2020, only amikacin, cefoxitin, imipenem, piperacillin/tazobactam, tigecycline showed below 20%. Noticeably, ciprofloxacin an increase rate 7.3% 2010 (S 139 vs. R 11) 27.78% 2019 104 40) even 30% (33.96%) 2020 35 18).Antibiotic is a serious problem UTIs. In treatment UTIs, more caution needed use antibiotics. It may be necessary apply appropriate management programs such as steward program patients. Failure proper response strategy coping accelerate crisis.
